Case Study

Logistics Park

Challenge

Vast, unused roof areas and high electricity bills were hindering our growth.

Our Solution

Installation of PV and implementation of intelligent energy management.

Project Details

The logistics park with its huge roof areas was an ideal candidate for the installation of a photovoltaic power plant. The main challenge was to integrate the PV production with the site's consumption, which included warehouses, cooling boxes, and charging a fleet of electric forklifts. We designed and implemented a 1.2 MWp PV system supplemented by an intelligent consumption management system. This system prioritizes the use of self-generated energy: first for direct consumption, then for charging forklifts, and only the surplus is stored in a battery storage system to cover evening peaks. This maximized the use of own energy and minimized the purchase from the grid.
